🏄‍♀️ HOW TO: Run Your Creative Business During the Summer Slump (or Any Slow Time)

In honor of the upcoming summer solstice, I want to talk about the dreaded “summer slump” & share a workshop to help you navigate it. 💛

First off — what is the summer slump? (you may be wondering)

The summer slump is a noticeable pattern in many online businesses where sales and revenue slow down in the summer months.

It’s not the experience of every business or business owner!

But enough of us go through it, that I’ve developed a few strategies for weathering the lower-revenue storm.

Those strategies include somatic self-soothing, reducing expenses, and experimenting with new offerings. And I gathered them all (with resources!) in a workshop I taught a year ago that I’m now gifting you here in the Clubhouse!

When I first taught this workshop, it was about How to Run Your Creative Business During a Recession…

But lucky for us, this year there’s a recession and a summer slump happening?? 😵‍💫

So I think this resource will be doubly useful if you’re trying to figure out your marketing and sales plan for the month ahead.

Because here’s the thing—

A slow season doesn’t have to kill your business or your creative spirit.

This workshop is 90 minutes of grounding frameworks, self-soothing practices, inspiring new ideas, and community camaraderie that will help you find a path forward.

You can watch the video workshop or enjoy the audio recording, then find the slides and notes in the class dashboard below.

This recording is only for paid subscribers, so you’ll have to upgrade to enjoy it. But it’s well worth the $5 of joining the Clubhouse to watch!
